Class Policy

Class enrollment

  • You don’t have to wait for a new session to start – you can enroll anytime! We’ll just pro-rate your tuition based on how many classes are left in the session.
  • We are currently in Session 4: May 12 to June 21. After a one-week break, our Summer Session runs from June 30 to August 29.
  • We do our best to place every child in a class that’s just the right fit.  Classes are organized into tight age bands so coaches can tailor instruction appropriately. If we ever think your child might thrive in a different group, we’ll reach out and chat with you.

  • Tuition is $30-35 per class. In addition to the class tuition, we collect a $55 registration fee per child per year.

Make-up policy

  • We totally get it – things come up! That’s why we offer two make-ups per session, space permitting. Make-ups need to happen within the same session the class was missed.
  • Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice when requesting a make-up. You can do this by giving us a call at (631) 288-2845 or email us at [email protected].
  • We are not able to offer credits for missed classes.
  • Please do not ask for credits for missed classes as we could not accommodate that for everyone.
  • Please do not show up for a class unless you schedule in advance, and please do not bring an unscheduled or unregistered friend to your child’s class.

 

What to wear (for safety and ease of movement)

  • Clothing: Leotards, unitards, yoga apparel, or t-shirts with athletic shorts/pants are all acceptable. Clothing should be non-restrictive, form-fitting, and free of zippers, buttons, snaps, and other decorative items that can catch on equipment. 
  • Not permitted for safety reasons: baggy or loose-fitting clothing, leotards with skirts attached, two-piece apparel/midriff exposed. Necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry should not be worn in the gym.
  • Shoes: Participants are required to be barefoot.
  • Hair: For the safety of participants, long hair must be tied back or pulled away from face prior to class.

 

Pick-up and drop off

  • Arrival: Please have your child wait in the lobby or waiting area until their coach calls them in. For safety, no one is allowed on the gym floor without an instructor present.
  • Pick-Up Time: If you step out during class, just be sure to return a few minutes early and come inside to pick up your child. For their safety, we don’t allow kids to wait outside for rides.
  • Watching Class: We do have a designated viewing area where you’re welcome to quietly watch your child. That said, we’ve found most kids are more focused and confident when parents step out during class—so if you’re comfortable, we encourage it! Quick reminder: To help keep classes distraction-free, we ask that parents not talk to students during class.

 

Planned closures/inclement weather

  • We are closed on May 26 (Memorial Day), July 4 (Independence Day), September 1 (Labor Day), November 27-29 (Thanksgiving), and December 23-January 2 (End of Year).
  • We communicate any unplanned closures through email and our social media channels.
